Glenvar Bands encompasses the heart of camaraderie and musicianship. Founded in 1966, Glenvar Bands displays a rich history of success. Members develop and embody core values such as showing kindness, working with others, and demonstrating grit. Musical excellence is the standard. The Sound of the Highlands can be heard in and around the Glenvar Community at concerts, events, parades, band competitions, and more.

Support our amazing musicians as they join students from schools all over district 6 for a 2 day event that ends with a concert showing all their hard work.
Back to back competitions end our February and begin our March as we travel down to Franklin County for our 3rd competition of the year.
Our next winter competition is upon us as we travel across town to Patrick Henry HS. We will perform "Ad Astra" for the 2nd time and our soloists and duettists will debut their shows as well.
