Glenvar Bands encompasses the heart of camaraderie and musicianship. Founded in 1966, Glenvar Bands displays a rich history of success. Members develop and embody core values such as showing kindness, working with others, and demonstrating grit. Musical excellence is the standard. The Sound of the Highlands can be heard in and around the Glenvar Community at concerts, events, parades, band competitions, and more.

All weekend long a few of our students will be working with Virginia Tech's finest culminating towards a concert Sunday afternoon.
Support our amazing musicians as they join students from schools all over district 6 for a 2 day event that ends with a concert showing all their hard work.
The 2025 Winterguard season begins with the Qualifier at West Ridge HS in Blountville, TN. Performance time is 2:38 PM
