Glenvar Bands encompasses the heart of camaraderie and musicianship. Founded in 1966, Glenvar Bands displays a rich history of success. Members develop and embody core values such as showing kindness, working with others, and demonstrating grit. Musical excellence is the standard. The Sound of the Highlands can be heard in and around the Glenvar Community at concerts, events, parades, band competitions, and more.

Interested in Winter Guard for the 2026 season? Come out to clinics to learn what we do and auditions on the 20th to earn a spot on the team. Attendance to at least half the clinics are required.
If we win on Nov. 14, we will host again either Radford or Appomattox.
